There are many reasons why you would want to have a tree removed from your property. Many times people do it for aesthetics; they don’t like the apple trees and the apples in their yard, or they are putting something else in like a pool, or perhaps they want to stop the sunlight being blocked in their home.
What to expect when First Call tree Services arrives at your property
When a tree company such as us comes out, we will look at the trees and the roots, and determine if the trees are healthy. We will investigate to see if there is a potential safety issue when it comes to the location of the tree and the weather patterns where you are. We may look a tree that is leaning and realize that one swift wind could blow it into your home. Avoiding tree storm damage is a better course of action than responding to the aftermath of a tree falling on your property. These are serious considerations and having that initial consultation can help you determine the best course of action.
Hire the right tree removal company
We are licensed and certified, and we will give you a written estimate of the cost. We don’t tell you one price verbally, and then they do the work and charge you significantly more. Having it in writing ensures that you will get that price (unless of course there are extenuating circumstances which we will explain before we work). Also, we can supply references for you to check out, so you know that you are going to be getting the services that you are requesting.
What’s the best way to remove the tree?
There are different ways to do remove the stump from complete stump removal to stump grinding and chemical removal (which is a secondary process after cutting the tree down). It depends on the roots of the tree and how far out they go and how big the stump is, as well as how much additional work you want to do to the landscape.
Keep in mind that stump removal is going to remove the whole stump and roots underneath which can leave you with a very large hole that now needs to be filled in. Stump grinding only grinds a few inches below the surface and produces a smaller hole at which point the roots will eventually die off and decay into the earth naturally. This is much simpler to fill and takes what could be considered less work both during the process of removal and after.
When you are discussing the processing of removing a tree at your home with us, you can be confident that you are using a reputable company that will do the job right, and also protect the landscaping and your home.
